Sam Staincliffe is the Co-Founder and CTO of Uplift360, a company developing technology to recycle advanced materials found in defence and aerospace. She’s held senior strategic roles in both defence and humanitarian assistance organisations including the Ministry of Defence and the American Red Cross. Where she gained specialist skills in materials, defence and sustainability. 

Ferox, was the first green-tech startup she founded, where they were trying to develop a bio material to replace non-recyclable plastics in the toy industry. The tech and the market were not ready. She met Jamie Meighan and together they founded Uplift360. With shared experience of the waste generated in the defence and aerospace sectors they both shared a vision for how material circular economy could lead to greater security and a better outcome for the planet.
