Erica Dill-Russell is the Director of International Operations at Liberty Alliance based in Tampa, Florida. She holds a Bachelor’s of International Business and a Master’s Degree in International Security. She is an Afghanistan Veteran, having served with the New Zealand Army and spent nine years as a government civilian with the New Zealand Defence Force, with her final post being the New Zealand Science and Technology Foreign Liaison Officer to United States Special Operations Command.

Erica leads two international divisions at Liberty Alliance which focus on facilitating international research and development collaboration between allied governments. She is globally experienced in defense collaborative agreements, international defense research and development fora, and multilateral defense innovation processes. Erica’s currently technology focus areas are weaponized autonomous systems, seabed warfare and technological advancements for austere environments. She is passionate about defense innovation, disruptive processes for defense technology development and acquisition, and establishing supportive environments for women in the defense technology industry. In her spare time Erica is an amateur triathlete training for 70.3 and 140.6 distance race
