Brad is a passionate technologist and problem solver who built a career leading specialist, high performance teams in complex and chaotic environments. Spanning service within
both the Australian Navy and Special Operations Command, Brad commanded teams of all sizes in a range of settings including peacekeeping and border control operations; warlike
operations in Africa, Afghanistan and Iraq; multiple rotations of domestic counter-terrorism responsibility within Australia; and a range of regional presence and partnership deployments in the Southwest Pacific, South and Northeast Asia, and beyond.

An early stage leader and architect in the founding of Australian Special Operations Command’s Innovation and Experimentation Group (IXG), and Co-Founder of Chaos1, Brad has lived both sides of the challenge in translating emerging technology into Defence capability. This passion for disruption, non-traditional teaming and the relentless pursuit of
industry and end-user convergence in creating Defence technology solutions drives his focus within Chaos1 and their AUKUS Defence Industry
