Telent Technology Ltd

Stand: Stand 18
Telent’s expertise with network solutions for large and complex environments, bringing together wired and wireless technologies, is ideal to support the “connected smart base” concept for military facilities and operational bases. These network solutions bring together IP core networks with wireless access based on Wi-Fi and 5G Private Network technology plus SD-WAN technologies from multiple leading vendors. Supporting many of the UK’s and Ireland’s best-known organisations, with a strong focus on key areas including defence, emergency services, transport, network providers and the public sector. Telent’s expertise, accreditations and knowledge make us a trusted partner for organisations at the forefront of the digital revolution. We enable organisations to create, improve and operate the IT and communication networks that their operations depend on. Networks are at the heart of the critical national infrastructure services and solutions that Telent provide across the UK and Ireland. Whether wired or wireless, these solutions all demand high performance networks that deliver speed, capacity and reliability against stringent security requirements. However, the network application environments are very diverse, frequently covering campus environments for leading universities including Oxford and Bristol and large scale operational sites such as the Hinkley Point C nuclear site. Other network solutions span multiple locations to connect operational assets such as the 163 remote radio sites around the UK’s coast for the Maritime & Coastguard Agency or the 4,400 mile National Roads Telecommunication Services that connect the strategic road network for National Highways. A suite of automated monitoring and management applications have been developed by Telent, supporting a range of use cases for building management, CCTV, environmental monitoring, alarm management and IoT solutions. These solutions are widely deployed across the Network Rail and Transport for London estates, and were initially developed to support the 2012 London Olympics. Mica - A command and control platform allowing integrated management of all information, safety and security systems: CCTV, Call Points, PAVA, SCADA, Analytics, Customer Information Displays, plus Fire, Access and Security Systems.
