Wanted: Technology and solutions to enhance the capability of Maritime Mission Systems
Finding solutions to your most pressing challenges
This opportunity is open to both academic and industrial practitioners. Industrial participants could be established businesses, start-ups or SMEs of any size.

BAE Systems Surface Ships is looking for novel and innovative ideas and solutions to bring new thinking to the operation performance of a UK naval vessel and KTN is working with them via the KTN-iX programme to identify innovation solutions from SMEs, medium-sized enterprises and UK R&D Centres across application areas.

Areas include:

  • Maritime Mission Systems
  • sensor & weapon control
  • rapid and large data analytical platforms/systems
  • command and control
  • surveillance
  • human-machine interfaces and modelling
  • #AR #VR programmes

The prominent, viable and innovative ideas will have the direct support of BAE Systems Surface Ships (including access to their software INTeACT SDK) to enable these solutions to readily integrate into warship systems such as those currently in operation. Such solutions will be enabled and encouraged by BAE Systems Surface Ships, with the wider market access and IP remaining firmly with the solution owner.

This opportunity is open to both academic and industrial practitioners. Industrial participants could be established businesses, start-ups or SMEs of any size.  Deadline for applications: Friday 26th November 2021.
