New technology offering for UAV's with high performance lightweight IMSI Locators and WiFi Grabbers

Revector launches combined IMSI and WiFi intelligence devices for UAV’s. Capturing and locating mobile devices from the air.

Revector has recently launched its enhanced multi-channel detection device range, including an advanced lightweight IMSI Locator UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) payload.

Revector Detector provides IMSI location capability combined with WiFi-catching capabilities to support operational situations, including border control, counter-terrorism, defence, security and intelligence.

These allow authorised users to lawfully locate and monitor mobile devices. It finds the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI), a 15-digit, unique number assigned to the SIM card of the mobile user on the network.

WiFi grabbing is a passive activity that can collect MAC addresses' historic WiFi access points and other data. The MAC address is observed even if a device is not actively connected to a particular wireless network or even if it is not actively transmitting data.

The Revector Detector UAV Payload is agnostic and has been integrated with several leading fixed-wing, rotor, multi-rotor, and VTOL UAVs and tested in real-world scenarios.

Designed with minimal weight and size aspirations, it can be mounted on all types of drones and retain long operational flight times with the in-built two-channel software-defined radios producing 5 watts output accompanied by proprietary hardware and software to ensure superior performance and accuracy.

The product must work in extreme weather conditions and repel dust and water ingress. It has also been designed to IP ratings to ensure sustained operational performance even when used in challenging situations.

The capability includes 2G, 3G and 4G and, with 5G mobile options for phone detection, identification and tracking with all frequencies accounted for worldwide deployment.

Combining WiFi-grabbing capability alongside IMSI location technology provides additional intelligence and insight for certain operational activities and scenarios. These include search and rescue, disaster control, anti-poaching, fraud detection, defence, border control, prison contraband monitoring, surveillance, critical infrastructure protection, law enforcement, and counter-terrorism, to name just a few practical uses of technology.

Revectors will display its Vehicle, Covert and UAV payload along with several UAV implementations at Three Counties Defence & Security Expo (3CDSE) in Three Counties Showground in Malvern, Worcestershire, on the 2nd and 3rd November.
